Termosan General Manager Hasan Yücel Yılmaz stated that they were the first company in Türkiye to provide commercial heat treatment in continuous furnaces and emphasised that they mainly serve the fastener industry.
SUBCONTURKEY: Could you briefly introduce yourself?
Hasan Yücel Yılmaz:
I graduated from the Metallurgical Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1991. I have worked in the heat treatment industry since 1994 and have approximately 30 years of industry experience. I have served, and continue to serve, the fastener and spring steel industries in particular.
SUBCONTURKEY: When was Termosan established?

Termosan was established in 1996 to carry out heat treatment. We serve all sectors, including hot- and cold-formed product groups such as bolts, screws, washers, nuts and spring steels, as well as hot forging, automotive, construction machinery, mining, defence and machining. We are the first company in Türkiye to provide commercial heat treatment in continuous furnaces and are a pioneer in this field. Today, with substantial capacity, we continue to be a pioneering company that drives development and adapts to technology, and we are determined to maintain this approach.
After our first facility in Sefaköy, we opened our Dilovası branch in 2019. By commissioning two continuous lines, we began serving the İzmir, Ankara, Bursa and Gebze regions. Our Dilovası branch became a facility with high customer satisfaction, which was our founding objective. The combined capacity of our two branches is 3,500 tonnes per month. Our capacity utilisation varies with increases or decreases in production in Türkiye. In 2022, we achieved a 50-60 percent increase in capacity compared with the previous year.
